I don’t know about the rest of Melbourne, but here in the Frankston area we’re pretty much in agreeance that banning the Mexican Wave is un-Aussie and the controllers are just asking for a Mexican Wave riot!
Bloody unreal! Why do big organisations always make stupid decisions with these things? It seems like they need a sub-group of Aussies, and i mean your general odd joe blow’s, to go over any final decisions they make before they sign the dotted line.
What do you think? Do you agree or disagree?
If you’re a fan of cruisy funky tunes then there’s a star rising that going to be the next poster on your wall…
A young and local talented gent by the name of Michael Paynter has signed a deal with Sony BMG and just come back from a 3 month stint in the US and UK learning from the Best of the Best in producers and writers.
Some of his new material created for him by the likes of Guy Chambers (Robbie Williams, INXS), Lindy Robbins and Reed Vertelney (Michael Jackson, Backstreet Boys) and Ricky Ross and Gary Clark (James Blunt, Natalie Imbruglia).
He’s really the one to keep your eye out for in 2007!
Michael’s currently working on his debut album set for release later this year. If you’re a fan of Channel 7’s new TV Series ‘Heroes’ - Check out the soundtrack “superhero” playing in the background of the adverts.
I’m telling you he’s going to be huge!
Us everyday Aussies like supporting the UnderDog, So here’s your chance to do just that. You can help him to acheive his dream (God knows we’d all love to acheive ours too) by heading to his website;www.michaelpaynter.com, purchasing his debut album later in the year, and he also sings a song on the album “Home: Songs of Hope & Journey” along with other big named Aussie artist in support for beyondblue - fighting against depression.
